Born and raised SF Bay Area, Gabbi began her career in the beauty industry in 2008.

After obtaining her CA Cosmetology license in 2009 and making the move to Los Angeles in 2010, she started off in Beverly Hills as an entry level salon assistant while simultaneously freelancing at the MAC counters. Later that year, she decided to take a leap of faith and pursue her dream career as a fulltime freelance makeup artist.

Since then she has been able to help manage artists at Miami Swim Week, and has become part of teams for Versace, Chanel, Burberry, Salvatore Ferragamo, Tom Ford, Joie, Guess and Top Shop to name a few.

She has contributed for both digital and print editorials in publications such as Vogue, Vogue Italia, Teen Vogue, Elle, Harpers Bazaar, Nylon, InStyle, BILLBOARD and more.

With a strong beauty foundation cultivated by working on major photography sets, Gabbi found her work walk down some of the most accredited Red Carpets for executives and nominees attending The MTV Movie Awards, The VMAS, The Golden Globes, SAG Awards, Oscars and events surrounding the awards season every year since 2011. Her eye for effortless beauty had also lead her to work press outlets for the TCA’s as well as traveling on a domestic press tour.

Besides working red carpets for major industry celebrations, she has worked backstage for philanthropic ceremonies such as The Trevor Awards, AD Color AwardsAn Evening With Women as well as leading a team as Key Artist for the Marc Jacobs presentation at The Art of Elysium.

By 2013 she had begun working in both New York and Los Angeles, as well as gaining experience by working with major television and new media networks like VH1, E!, CBS, NBCUNIVERSAL, DIsney ABC, YouTube and Hulu.

After becoming a Union member in 2015, this past spring Gabbi was honored by The Academy of Television Sciences with her first Emmy Nomination for Outstanding Makeup in Daytime Television for her work on The Talk on CBS.

Having built artistry relationships with some of the top makeup professionals in both LA and NYC - Gabbi believes she could not have found success alone, and believes she built her career by the grace and generosity from artists surrounding her.

With a pay it forward attitude,  she has continuously given back to the Los Angeles community. Since 2013 Gabbi has developed teams and hands on workshops benefiting foster, LGBT and at risk teens through The LA Youth Network and various non-profit organizations.

On days off, being a true California native, you can find Gabbi at various beaches up and down the SoCal coastline. But when timing permits, she makes it a point to travel somewhere she hasn’t been before.
